Lagravera’s five vineyards date from 1889, 1930, 1935, 1999 and 2006, and are close to the longest gypsum mountain range in Europe, in the most continental area of Catalonia, in northwestern Spain.

On the axis between the Pyrenees and the Ebro Valley, we have found an ideal place to make great wine. A natural location where extreme climate contrasts and soil composition make up the ideal setting for growing vines.

Our project began in 2006 with the transformation of an old gravel pit (in Spanish “gravera”) into the “Vinya Núria” Vineyard. Today we count on 4 more vineyards, which have been added to the project later, bringing our project beyond to, not only recovering the landscape, but also the wine history of our region

We are scientists by training and farmers by vocation. Our two worlds meet in Lagravera, where all our wine-making processes are as natural as possible, observing and accompanying the grape without relinquishing any technical advances to ensure a high-quality wine.

Our winery’s philosophy is one of maximum respect for all natural processes, following the principles of biodynamics, certified by Demeter

Nature provides everything we need to make good wines. We let it express itself freely, intervening as little as possible. We listen, observe, and respect its cycles allowing wine to surprise us with rich nuances and elegant complexities from each vintage.
