Claramunt is an homage made by brothers, Eduard and Xavier, to their hometown La Pobla de Claramunt and its founding family, who founded the town over a thousand years ago. Although many things have changed since then, one thing has remained unchanged- wine is still a very important part of life. It is a little pleasure enjoyed as a part of everyday life that can make the day a little more pleasant.

The origin of the wine is the Terra Alta region of Catalonia- situated near many regional borders between the Ebro River and a strip land bordering Aragón. Terra Alta has a typical Mediterranean landscape dotted with coastal mountains, rivers, and forests between vineyards, olive and almond trees. The plains, plateaus, and valleys showcase the complexity and richness of seventeen types of soils. A mosaic of flat vineyards at the center of the valley will welcome you to the Grenache paradise.

You can say that viticulture is embodied in the very spirit of Terra Alta. Winemaking is more than just a millennia-old tradition for us, it is an art; and Claramunt is our masterpiece. Our wines are diligently crafted with every detail in mind so that you will enjoy a unique experience.
