Mas Llunes is a family winery located in the north-east of Catalonia, in Albera’s natural countryside, within Empordà DO. The Pyrenees, to the north and the Mediterranean Sea, to the south makes our region truly unique place, linking the coast to the mountains.

Our story goes back over 700 years, when our ancestors were already working the land in our village, Garriguella. Today we are still pursuing their dream making modern wines and at the same time, respectful with the tradition.

We make all our wines only with our own vineyards. We prioritize the local varieties such as Grenache and Carignan to make wines with Empordà character, working following integrated production by using natural resources and regulating mechanisms to replace polluting inputs.

Our land offers extremely rich slaty soil, high sun exposure and a strong northern wind called Tramuntana, conditions that give our wines personality, freshness and a high concentration.
