Covides was founded in 1963 from the desire of 500 wine growers from across the Penedès region to make wines and cavas in a professional way maintaining their own personality.

The legacy of our wine-growers’ past generations gave us our mark of identity. Throughout Penedès more than 2.000 hectares of vineyards spread out over 50 municipalities form the own vineyards of Covides. An extraordinary diversification of lands which allow us to make DO Penedès and DO Cava wines and cavas of excellent quality and variety.

From the plot until the production, Covides have the entire necessary infrastructure of the production chain to enable the creation of its wines and cavas.

Our wines and cavas are the result of applying modern production techniques and the most innovative facilities. And the enologist team of Covides experience, technique and creativity, key ingredients for giving personality to our wines and cavas.
