In 1942, on October 26th, Unió was constituted at a grand event held at the emblematic Art Noveau theatre Fortuny, in the Catalan city of Reus, 100 km South of Barcelona.

Today, more than 70 years later, Unió represents thousands of families of growers, being not only an exponent of wine production in Catalonia, it is something more. It is also an exponent of support to rural life, becoming significantly involved in the improvement of living conditions for growers and also the modernization and professionalization of the Catalan agrarian sector.

As our Mission says, we are strongly committed to our land and our environment, working closely with our associate growers. This Mission becomes art in our exclusives DO Priorat, Montsant and Terra Alta, where the landscape, the soil with its unique llicorella stones in Priorat, the hundred-centuries wine history in these places, allow us to produce magic and transport worldwide people to Heaven.
